Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Earth Day and Anniversary Party at Nature’s Way

Nature’s Way in Easton will celebrate 40 years in business with an Earth Day party from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 18. There will be live music, free, locally prepared foods and ice cream, big sales, door prizes and face painting with local artist Lauren Kindle. Representatives from New Chapter, Nordic Naturals, Gaia Herbs, Flora, Himalaya, Coffee Scoop, Perfect Day and Harvest Home, as well as David Winston, of Herbalist and Alchemist, will be on hand to answer questions.

When David and Linda Harder started Nature’s Way Market, bulk herbs, grains, nuts, seeds, fruits and flour were the focus of their inventory. Bins have replaced the old wooden barrels, but the original display jars are still in place, and the peanut butter and coffee grinders are still in their position near the bulk honey and tamari. Today the store offers vitamins, minerals, herbs, fresh produce, and local dairy in addition to bulk foods.

Location: 143 Northampton St., Easton. For more information, call 610-253-0940. See ad, page 29.
