Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Celebrating Veggies at VegFest

The sixth annual Bethlehem VegFest will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., August 20, on the beautiful Greenway in South Side Bethlehem, to support and encourage vegans in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. The festival includes cooking demonstrations, renowned speakers, live music and more than 100 food, small business and craft vendors from up and down the East Coast.

The Greenway fills with vegan and vegetarian festival-goers and those just curious to learn more about this lifestyle. Last year 10,000 people made their way through the festival, sampling local produce, taste-testing vegan cuisine, enjoying live music and even practicing yoga. VegFest participants agreed that the “open to everyone” feeling attracted a crowd of happy, healthy individuals eager to learn more about vegan and raw food choices, cruelty-free products and sustainable living.

Location: between Adams and Taylor Streets just south of East Third Street in Bethlehem. There is a LANTA bus stop across the street to provide sustainable, green transportation. For more information, call Tim Brooks at 610-739-1775 or email [email protected]. See ad page 11.
