Winter’s most enduring and versatile veggie, the potato, will be celebrated from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., February 28, at the Easton Farmers’ Market Winter Mart. Many of the 37 vendors will feature potatoes in soups, chowders, crostinis, quiche, pasties and more. Attendees can mix up their favorite combination at the mashed potato bar and bring the kids to make a Mr. Potato Head and join in a potato hunt.

The Easton Farmers’ Market family is a passionate group of farmers, entrepreneurs, chefs and artists that are fully committed to their craft and dedicated to making our world a better, healthier more beautiful place. The building that currently houses the EFM Winter Mart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through April 18 will be converted to the Easton Public Market later this year. The group is working hard to create the optimal local shopping experience for the community and asks for feedback via an online food shoppers survey found at EastonFarmersMarket.com.
