The monthly Spiritual Book Club reading list for 2017 from Kindred Spirits Books and Gifts, in Hellertown, gives members a chance to discuss and learn different perspectives on spiritual works from luminary leaders of spiritual thought on the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. Light refreshments by I’m hungry Truck and Depot will be served.

The book lineup for the first half of 2017 includes; January: Healthy Aging, by Andrew Weil; February: A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson; March: Anatomy of the Spirit, by Carolyn Myss; April: The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran; May: The Holy Man and The Holy Man’s Journey, by Susan Trott; June: A Place at the Table, by Rebecca White.

Kindred Spirits Books and Gifts recently expanded into Sacred Space, a calming community space just across the street where gatherings, classes and some spiritual services will be offered to support the gift and book store. The intention of the retail store and sacred event space is to offer the community a place where customers can leave with more peace than they came in with.
