A Green Drinks program, Connecting the Pieces with the LV Sustainability Network, with President Andrea Wittchen, will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., July 12, at the Allentown Brew Works. The group meets the second Wednesday of each month.

Wittchen states, “Join us as we look at how the LV Sustainability Network can help you promote your event, project or volunteer opportunity to a broader audience. We'll also look at how the LVSN website can help you connect with sustainability events, engage with your legislative representatives and learn more about the big, broad world that is sustainability.

Every month, people that are interested in sustainability meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. There is a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. It's a great way of catching up with people we know and making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.
