Lehigh Valley Sustain-a-Ball

The RenewLV 2017 Sustain-a- Ball fundraiser is a celebration of Lehigh Valley efforts to protect and preserve the region’s farmland, to be held from 6 to 10 p.m., June 17, at the Allentown Brew Works. The evening will include an authentic Lakota ceremony, hors d’oeuvres, pasta bar, dessert, music, dancing and a silent auction. Funds raised will go to the Farmland Preservation Campaign.

Entertainment includes dancing to easy listening jazz standards performed by The Austin Kruczek Group, which includes guitar, trombone, piano and bass. Additionally, this magical evening will include hoop dancing and Native American flute from internationally renowned Native American performing artist Delwin Fiddler, Jr.

This event will be a great time to connect with old friends and meet new ones from around the region that care about food sustainability, the environment and supporting farmland preservation.

Tickets are $50 at Tinyurl.com/sustainaball; no dress code. Location: 812 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. For more information, call 917-288-3936 or email smartgrowth@renewlv.org.
