Third Annual NEPA Yoga Fest

Chelsea Manganaro, owner of the Nearme Yoga studios in Moosic and Peckville, will host the Third Annual Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA) Yoga Fest from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 10 at the Water Park at Montage Mountain, in Moosic. The festival—focused on yoga and promoting an overall healthy lifestyle—offers a diverse array of yoga instruction for every age and level yogi from beginner to advanced.

Classes will include exploration of vinyasa, kundalini, restorative, chakra flow, acro yoga, yin and more. The festival will feature some of the best instructors from all over the country including Alanna Kaivalya, from New York City, and Pete Guinosso of San Francisco.

“We plan to provide our guests plenty of reasons to visit the NEPA Yoga Festival through yoga, art, music, presentations, shopping, socializing, healthy food and a healing tent that will be added this year,” says Manganaro, the festival’s founder and director. “Since the first year, the yoga community has significantly grown in the United States in general and I cannot wait for June 10 to share my passion and excitement with everyone.”

The new healing tent is sponsored by Thrive Wellness Center of Kingston. Natural health speakers and businesses will present in the tent throughout the day, including Synergy Reiki Studio, Jonathan Coyle, Amber Summer-Krug, Dr. Dan Chiropractic, Angel’s Peace Within, The Familiar, Psychicmediuminpa.com, Yoga4Sobriety, Distant Whispers Energy Healing and the Giving Tree Wellness Center.

A family-friendly event, the festival will also have live music, inspirational speakers, meditations and children’s activities like face painting and henna tattoos. Unique local vendors and artists will be providing a wide selection of goods, as well as multiple healthy food options available for purchase. Additionally, the water park will be open for children of all ages.

The NEPA Yoga Festival will take place rain or shine. Purchase tickets using promo code: NA2017 for 20 percent off your tickets. Visit NepaYogaFestival.com.
