Shanthi Project Summer Fest

The nonprofit Shanthi Project will host Summer Fest, a family-friendly day of outdoor fun, at the Haycock area of Lake Nockamixon, in Quakertown, from noon to 6 p.m., June 23. Activities include fun flow vinyasa with Iris Kish, family yoga, a standup paddleboarding session with Miss Melanie, yoga, mindfulness meditation, boot camp yoga with Burn It Down Wellness, music, healthy living talks about essential oils, native plants, etc., adult art with Professor Kristin Baxter, a gong bath demonstration by Maria, kindness rock painting and more. Nelli Rae's Kitchen, in Revere, will provide an assortment of delicious options for purchase. Water will be available.

The Shanthi Project supports the physical and emotional well-being of trauma survivors and at-risk children through trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness. Proceeds from Summer Fest will support Shanthi Project's three service areas: Child Welfare and After-School Yoga, In-Class Mindfulness, and Court-Involved and Recovery Programming.
