Free Showing of Race to Nowhere

The informative and acclaimed documentary film Race to Nowhere will be shown at 7 p.m., October 8, at Circle of Seasons Charter School. The movie sounds a call to action for families, educators and policymakers to challenge current assumptions about how to best prepare the children of America to become healthy, bright, independent, contributing and leading citizens.

Circle of Seasons is a public Waldorf-Methods charter school offering a learning environment that is inspirational and disciplined and infuses learning with enthusiasm, creativity and significance. Using Waldorf-Methods instruction in combination with Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, they provide a whole-child approach to learning. Their commitment is to nourish and educate students based on the model of natural development. Teachers and staff work with each student’s developmental and educational needs to foster an environment that supports independent and creatively thinking individuals.
