Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference

The sixth Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 13, at the Lehigh University STEPS Building, bringing together community watershed organizations, municipal officials, educators, students, scientists, technical experts, natural resource agency staff, industry representatives and the public to discuss effective ways to improve and protect the land and water resources throughout the greater Lehigh Valley. The conference will conclude with a networking reception from 4 to 5 p.m.

This year’s conference will also include half-day workshops on aquatic insect identification and working with publicly available information to build effective watershed geographic information systems.
