The Wisdom of Wind Power

Green Drinks, the Lehigh Valley's premier green networking event, presents Phil Jones, of the Mid- Atlantic Renewable Energy Association, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., October 11, at the Allentown Brew Works, presented by Lehigh Valley Sustainability Network.

While it does not receive the same attention as solar, wind power is a critical part of our energy resource. Without it, California would not have 30 percent renewable generation or Denmark nearly 60 percent. Wind power is available in most every state across the country and equally valuable in Pennsylvania.

Green Drinks is an informal monthly mixer that brings together those interested in sustainable business, policy and living.
