Parents’ Voices of Addictive Children

Marie Boland and Anke Christiani invite parents of addictive children to join them from 10:30 a.m. to noon, December 9 to share stories, discuss successes and support everyone’s journey of healing. Both have been parents of an addictive child for 20 years and are writing a book about their experiences. This informational meeting introduces the books sixteen chapters for which parents can choose to contribute to.

“It feels good to us to share our experiences, and it gives us a stronger feeling of not being alone with the dramatic experiences we have encountered as a parent of an addictive child,” says Christiani. The world needs to hear about how much we love our children. The book will offer insights onto a world many cannot imagine, but we intend to offer a better understanding and unconditional support to help parents fight the heroin epidemic.

Location: St. Luke’s University Hospital Bethlehem Education Center, room 113, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem. For more information visit facebook:annachristiani/page/parents voices of addictive children, email [email protected] or call Marie Boland at 610-392-8307.
