Welcome! I feel very honored and privileged to have been accepted by the Natural Awakenings board to proceed with the purchase of this magazine. Reid Boyer, the previous owner, was determined to find the right fit for his advertisers before agreeing to sell, as he started the Lehigh Valley edition in 2007 and has grown it to where it is today. As I engulf on this new endeavor, I must sincerely thank him for his expertise, patience, professionalism and the continuous emails, texts, and calls that I have put into him to make this a smooth transition. Reid is not moving too far away, as he concentrates on building the Northeast PA edition of the Natural Awakenings magazine. On behalf of everyone who has had the pleasure of working with you, Reid, and in particular your advertisers, I wish you the very best in all your future endeavors!

I am originally from Scotland, UK, and upon completing my full service in the British Military, I returned to school to obtain my MBA, relocated to the US in 2002 with my wife and son, and entered the Real Estate arena. When my sister passed away from Breast Cancer at the age of 42, I knew something had to change and a new profession started forming in my mind’s eye. I went back to school and studied Human Clinical Medical Nutrition and continued on at school to obtain my Doctorate of Naturopathic medicine, with the hope that I would make a difference on how people view their health options. I look forward to sharing my expertise and experience in business with my advertisers to help them grow. Additionally, my passion has always been in health and fitness, therefore, educating the public on how to stay healthy, as prevention is better than the cure, comes quite natural to me. Prevention is also healthier, much more enjoyable and contributes to being a happier person. This is where you all come in, offering different aspects of treatments to help get your patients/clients into choosing the healthier options and becoming healthy. We are a family of health-conscious individuals who have come together for the right reasons and may that continue to grow!
