DIY Solar Installation Classes
Solar electricity is the fastest-growing energy sector in the U.S., but trade schools and community colleges are having a hard time getting up to speed with new education opportunities in this sector. Electronics Technicians Association (ETA) Solar Electric five-day certification workshops with Jay Warmke are affordable opportunities to get up to speed with DIY solar installations or a new career in an emerging energy sector.
“This is especially significant considering the need for new jobs that are relevant in today's economy.” says Warmke. Two upcoming courses in Pennsylvania will take place from May 7 through 11 in Germansville, and June 4 through 8 in Brookville,
Rusty Orner, of Quiet Creek Herb Farm, says, "I gained the knowledge to install solar electric, and in fact we put in a 3.9 kW array. This year, we will continue the process and add more to help offset electricity for our farm's new geothermal system.”Edit ModuleShow Tags
