JP Hepp, a master chocolatier from Belgium and owner of Chocodiem, will present a chocolate talk and tasting from 6 to 7:30 p.m., February 3, to kick off the Chocolate Month series at the Easton Public Market. Hepp was recently honored as one of the 2016 Top 10 Chocolatiers in North America by Dessert Professional magazine. At this event in the EPM Kitchen and Community Room, attendees will learn about the history of chocolate making and taste different types of chocolate.

Second in the Chocolate Month series is a demonstration of how to “paint” chocolates on February 4, with culinary artisans creating hand-painted works of art on handmade truffles. There will be a chocolate and wine pairing at 5 p.m., February 8, perfect a special Valentine.

Soirée Chocolat, a market-wide event from 5 to 8 p.m., February 10, features chocolate specials at each vendor location and demonstrations by local chefs to wind up Chocolate Month with the music of Earl the Accordionist strolling through the market and Patrick Poladian at the keyboard.
