The Radiant Light Holistic Metaphysical Expo will celebrate ten years of bringing metaphysical and holistic healing products and services to the local community. Scheduled for March 4-5 at the Inn at Reading in Wyomissing, Expo hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Expo organizer Sylvia Seward is the founder of Radiant Light Healing & Teaching Center (RLHTC). She received metaphysical training through the Western Mystery School Tradition; ministerial training through Metaphysical Universal Ministries in Allentown, and has over twenty years of Bible education and spiritual initiation. RLHTC offers Reiki healing sessions and training, spiritual/metaphysical telephone consultations, hypnomeditation regression therapy, emotional cord cutting, and harmonic frequency modulation. She teaches Gifts of the Spirit: The Art & Technique of Meditative Channeling. RLHTC is in the process of moving into a new space, and will soon offer a free monthly meditation class on Sundays (love offering accepted), followed by a discussion of topics most relevant to attendees.
Seward first decided to organize the Expo ten years ago out of a desire to “create something loving,” she says, adding “I wanted people to walk in and feel loved. This event is done from my heart, and I have a lot of help from above.”
She says the most important thing to remember is that “energy just keeps moving,” and that the Expo’s vendors offer products and services to enable that movement in a healthy way. Seward anticipates having about 60 vendors, which is the location’s capacity. She intentionally keeps admission cost very affordable, at only $7.00, to allow her vendors to reach the greatest number of clients and customers who might benefit from their services. In addition, as a 10th year anniversary offering, there will be limited giveaways of products and services to paid entrants, along with free audience readings in a limited-seating Spirit Gallery beginning at 2 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
“I am always looking for interesting, proven methods that may be beneficial to attendees,” says Seward. Though many of her vendors have been with the Expo since its inception ten years ago, new ones have been added each year. Seward assigns vendor locations within the building to enhance the flow of energy and allow both vendors and attendees to achieve the best experience. The wide variety of offerings includes chiropractic care, handmade jewelry, aura photos, stones, crystals, aromatherapy, natural soaps and lotions, books, medium readings, hypnosis and reflexology. Annelle Soponis, Ph.D., Board Certified Hypnotist and Certified Instructor, of Bridge Hypnosis. Soponis will demonstrate the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which uses tapping on the body’s meridian points (the same points used in acupuncture) to help the client release negative emotion and move toward acceptance and peace.
Basic Earth Essentials will offer handcrafted 100 percent natural self-care, pet care, and inspirational products without chemical additives, synthetic fragrance, unnatural dyes or unwelcome preservatives.
Cosmic Soul Coach Heidi Bosch will promote meditation for children. As a survivor of parents who suffered from alcoholism and drug addiction, she went on to become a Reiki master and offers Soul Coaching and Accountability Coaching, along with Oracle Card readings in her practice.
Spickerman’ s Intuitive Threads will feature fashionable clothing and accessories infused with energy, hand-dyed silk scarves and tapestries, tarot bags, purses, and artisan bead jewelry. After creating 18th century reproduction clothing for 25 years, owner Laura Spickerman spent five years working with a psychic, where she learned to infuse her talent with creative energies to create unique works of art. Azure Seward is a natural psychic medium who connects clients with guides, angels, and loved ones in the other realm.
Azure Seward is also a master healer, using her given gifts to bring the human body into its natural energetic alignment to facilitate a clients’ soul growth in her work in the Akasha. She will conduct a limited seating spirit Gallery Sunday afternoon.
Robert Moyer, The Seer, a Certified Tarot Master and Metaphysical Universal Ministries ordained minister, will offer palm and card readings.
Sticks and Stones will have crystals, rocks and gems, and designer jewelry for sale. They also offer astrological readings.
Kimberly Uhl an Intuitive Karmix Matrix Practitioner, will offer a Karmix Matrix lecture with an interactive session at 11:30 Saturday morning and 30-minute Spirit Gallery at 2pm Saturday.
Living Spectrum Reflexology performs advanced, integrated reflex therapies for rejuvenation and rehabilitation. Proprietor Lynn Diehl is a Certified Registered Reflexologist, Certified Facial Reflex Therapist, Certified Temprana Therapist, Certified Reiki Master and completed requirements for Craniosacral Therapy Level II and Somato Emotional Release Level I.
HM Salt Lamps will offer unique carved and natural cut Himalayan salt lamps.
Rebecca Austill-Clausen is the author of Change Maker: How My Brother’s Death Woke Up My Life. Following her brother’s death, Austill-Clausen, an occupational therapist, underwent a spiritual awakening in which she discovered that she could communicate with him and receive guidance from the other realm.
Kulp Nutrition and Wellness Center, founder Donna Kulp, D.C., and staff combine the very best hands-on technique, state of the art physiotherapy procedures, and the newest and best natural vitamin and mineral supplements to return patients to health.
Two visitors per day will be chosen for a free 15-minute reading with one the Expo’s mediums. “As an intuitive myself, I’m very selective of the readers and mediums who participate,” notes Seward. “They must read accurately for me first, to be included in the Expo.” A few lucky attendees will also receive free mugs, totes and other specialty items.
There will also be lectures by selected vendors, with times and topics to be determined. “Our vendors are very willing to discuss people’s concerns with them,” says Seward. “This Expo is designed to provide an entertaining avenue for those with an interest in metaphysical and holistic healing to learn about a wide variety of effective products and methodologies.”
