While this quote may seem a departure for Today’s Thought, keeping ourselves well is an important component of success. If one walks around sick or tired – or sick and tired, it is difficult to accomplish much.

Today it seems there is a medication for everything …including the side effects of taking too many medications. We need to seek out reliable sources for our food, prepare it well and enjoy good wholesome food at every meal.

There is an old saying, “You are what you eat.’ Of course, that doesn’t mean that if You eat a donut you’ll suddenly become one. What it does mean, however, is that by filling your body with junk food You are compromising your wellness.

Without wellness, it becomes more difficult to function in the day to day world. Those who don’t eat properly have difficulty fighting off colds, flues and eventually all manner of other sicknesses.

When you are sick, it stands to reason that you just cannot function at the degree of intelligence and right thinking that is necessary to get things accomplished. Learn to take good care of Your body, mind, and spirit and they will help keep you at the top of your game and get you well on your way to having a healthy longevity sick free existence and able to obtain the successful life that you seek.
