Dr. Thomas B. Wachtmann will be hosting a discussion focusing on thyroid gland disorders at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25 at Twin Ponds Integrative Health Center near Fogelsville. Attendees can learn about new drug-free treatment advancements now available for addressing thyroid problems.

Topics of the discussion include symptoms of a thyroid condition, common reasons why women develop thyroid problems, how some thyroid conditions are reversible, and how to determine if your doctor is doing everything possible to fix your thyroid condition. Different types of thyroid conditions such as hypothyroid/hyperthyroid, Hashimoto’s disease, Graves’ disease and more will be explained along with why some “thyroid disorders” are really not problems with the thyroid gland at all, but are actually other problems that are being overlooked.
