Bagels & Biographies

Individuals who want to read inspirational texts and share supportively within a group setting are invited to Bagels & Biographies, a book group moderated by Gail-Elaine Tinker, master social worker and professional psychotherapist. The group meets at 10 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month in Bethlehem.

“The goal of this study and interaction is life appreciation, personal growth and wellness,” states Tinker. “Our members come from diverse backgrounds and experience. We read biographies and memoirs in the spirit of literary appreciation and support for mutual healthy personal development. The group discussion enriches the experience as many perspectives are offered. The group comes together and supports each other in a way that supports each individual. Beginners to book groups are welcome. It is always an awesome learning experience.”

The cost for the group is $10 per month, which includes a healthy breakfast. A reasonable commitment to the schedule is encouraged. Tinker Psychotherapy is located at 3005 Brodhead Road, Suite 260 in Bethlehem. Call 610-216-4319 or visit TinkerPsychotherapy.com for registration or more information. See ad, page 40.
