The Pennsylvania Reiki Consortium is hosting Amanda Jayne, a Jikiden Reiki shihan from the UK who will be speaking on the topic of “Reiki, before it came to the West” on Thursday, May 31 at 7pm in Allentown.  This is the premier event offered by The Pennsylvania Reiki Consortium whose goal is to help promote the professional practice of Reiki while establishing collegial relationships among Reiki practitioners and providing community outreach. 

The Pennsylvania Reiki Consortium acts as a proponent for the many benefits of Reiki throughout the entire community.  To this end, it has already established a free public Reiki clinic on the first Tuesday of each month in Bethlehem where the public can experience the healing benefits of Reiki. Additional guest speakers and special events, including volunteering and continuing professional development opportunities for Reiki practitioners are being planned for the coming months.
