Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Natural Day at the Farmers’ Market

Natural Awakenings will be sponsoring a mini health fair at the Easton Farmers’ Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 30. Along with healthy local foods offered direct from the producers, a select group of natural health providers will be on hand to answer questions from shoppers. Reiki, therapeutic massage, chiropractic care, herbal therapy, hypnotherapy and naturopathy are just a few of the modalities that will be represented. David Harder of Nature’s Way Health Food Store will also present a talk entitled, The Phat on Fat: Why We Need Quality Fats to be Healthy, at 10 a.m.

“The Easton Farmers’ Market is the oldest continuously operating Farmer’s market in the country,” states Market Manager Megan McBride. “Easton residents have sought farm-fresh food direct from the producer since 1752. We are always looking for unique ways to engage and support the community. Natural health is a perfect fit and we hope everyone will come out and enjoy a great morning exploring downtown Easton, learning about natural health, purchasing some healthy local food and enjoying getting to know their neighbors.

The Easton Farmers’ Market is located at Center Square at 3rd and Northampton Streets in downtown Easton. For more information on the Easton Farmers Market, the Greater Easton Development Partnership or the Easton Main Street Initiative, contact Megan McBride at 610-330-9942.
