Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

VegFest 2012

The second annual Bethlehem VegFest will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., September 8, at the new at the new Greenway on Bethlehem’s SouthSide. Organized by The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and The Downtown Bethlehem Association, the goal of the VegFest is to continue to support and encourage vegetarians and vegans in the Lehigh Valley.

The free event brings together an array of vegetarian natural food providers, top national speakers and chefs, and educational exhibitors in a fun and welcoming environment. It is a chance to talk directly to food producers, learn the newest items in the marketplace, taste free food samples, shop at show special discounts, or simply learn what vegetarian foods are available and where they can be found. Patrons can also enjoy fun and games for kids, dog and cat adoptions, and live music and entertainment. The event is ideal for longtime vegetarians and vegan, as well as those simply wanting to add more healthy and delicious foods to their meal repertoire.
