A new support group is forming for individuals who are interested in learning about holistic treatment modalities to optimize breast health. South Jersey Breast Wellness will provide information, resources and a positive supportive environment to those interested in creating and maintaining healthy breasts. The emphasis will be on diet and lifestyle modifications as well as immune boosting and relaxation/stress reduction techniques.

The group’s first meeting will take place from 6 to 7 p.m., January 15, at Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging, the office of Dr. Philip Getson, in Marlton, New Jersey. The topic will be “The Use of Thermography for Breast Health Early Risk Asessment.” Future meetings, which are free and open to those who have an interest in optimizing breast health, will be held the third Tuesday of every month.

Getson is a board certified family physician and a board certified thermologist with 36 years of experience. He is considered an expert and pioneer in the field of thermography and serves as vice president of the American Academy of Thermology.
