The Doggy Dao Training Center, in Hellertown, offers classes with two trainers. Bob Hafer has more than 10 years of experience, and specializes in aggression and therapy dog certification. Patrice Teltser has been training for seven years and specializes in behavior troubleshooting and reactivity.

Doggy Dao’s training philosophy focuses on positive reinforcement and associative training methods. Classes include Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Obedience, Beyond Basics (advanced) and Trick Classes. All classes are one hour long for six weeks. Private lessons are available.

Doggy Dao also offers therapy dog certification through the nonprofit Gift of Sunshine and stocks a healthy selection of foods, treats and supplements for cats and dogs.
