Manorama Presents The Warrior Within Through the Bhagavad Gita

The world-renowned teacher Manorama will teach Sanskrit and yoga philosophy from 1 to 5 p.m., July 21, at The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem, evoking healing through the universal arts of language and conscious living. “Happiness,” she says, “is the free flow of energy, and communication is energy. When we use our voices authentically and confidently, we create harmony between ourselves and others.”

This course is appropriate for yoga teachers and students interested in yoga philosophy. Students should bring a notebook, pencil or pen and a meditation shawl. Manorama offers a direct, accessible and joyful approach to Sanskrit, encouraging her students to focus on its dynamic sound qualities and architectural beauty, rather than simply memorizing grammar.

Pupils will learn to engage the vast storehouse of energy that exists within them through chanting and awareness of the principles of the inner warrior. This course offers a new lens through which to view this vast and enlightening subject—the inner warrior—through the Bhagavad Gita.

Cost: $65 plus $26 for course materials, including a CD. Location: 521 E. 4th St., third floor, Bethlehem. For more information, call 610-867-9642 or visit TheYogaLoftOfBethlehem.com.
