Lehigh Valley Harvest at Allentown Brew Works

 

The sixth annual Lehigh Valley Harvest, a celebration of local food and farms, will take place from 1 to 4 p.m., October 27, with more than 30 restaurants, farms, wineries, breweries and other local food providers to give participants the opportunity to taste the Valley’s most imaginative cuisine from its finest chefs, most dedicated farmers and freshest locally grown ingredients. Proceeds benefit Buy Fresh Buy Local and the Seed Farm.

Attendees will enjoy great food and watch demonstrations on preparing and preserving the harvest, featuring Executive Chef Jon Middleton, director of culinary operations at Muhlenberg College Dining Services, cookbook author Marisa McClellan and fermenting instructor Amanda Feifer.

A silent auction and special VIP hour from noon to 1 p.m., sponsored by Bon Appétit, round out the day. VIP ticketholders receive limited early admission, a special welcome cocktail, guided wine and beer pairings and entry in an exclusive VIP raffle.
