MDE Pickup, an electronic collection and transportation company, is picking up electronic waste in more than 16 townships of eastern Lehigh County from residential customers to help encourage the community to preserve the landfills and take action toward keeping the environment clean.

Electronic waste includes items that can plug in and cannot, according to Pennsylvania law, be collected by standard garbage collection corporations. MDE Pickup provides residents with the convenience of curbside service and the peace of mind that their waste is being properly discarded without the negative effects on the environment and landfills. MDE Pickup offers to provide each customer with a recycling certificate once drop-off is complete.
