Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Huge Indiemade Craft Market in Allentown

The sixth annual Indiemade Craft Market, Lehigh Valley’s largest indie craft show, with more than 50 vendors, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 7, at the Starlite Ballroom, in Allentown. The market serves up a fresh holiday shopping experience every year to meet the growing interest in buying local by providing a way for socially-minded shoppers to purchase unique gifts that are handcrafted within their own community and to connect with the people that made them. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Baum School of Art scholarship fund.

For visitors with a crafty impulse, do-it-yourself (DIY) craft tables with instructors from the Baum School of Art, Cedar Crest College and Paintsome Pottery will be on hand with materials to teach attendees how to make paper crafts that include paper flowers, bowls and bisque bead necklaces; and listen to live, up-and-coming indie bands while they do-it-themselves.

Admission is $3/12 and under free. First 50 adults will receive swag bags from Mercantile Home of Easton. Location: 1221 S. Front St. For more information, visit IndieMadeCraftMarket.com.
