Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Learn About Tick-Borne Diseases

Lyme specialist Dr. Ann Corson and environmentalist May Dooley will present a discussion, Lyme, Mold and Biotoxin Illnesses, from 7 to 9 p.m., November 6, at the Country Meadows Retirement Facility, in Bethlehem.

Many primary care doctors in Pennsylvania may not be adept at diagnosing Lyme disease and the outdated Elisa and western blot tests used by some local testing facilities have been criticized as missing up to 60 percent of cases. Corson is noted as one of the nation’s leading doctors when it comes to looking at the entire body and the entire set of infections and uses a combination of natural and pharmaceutical treatments.

The Lehigh Valley Area Lyme Disease Support Group is open to the public and meets on the first Wednesday of every month in Bethlehem.

Location: 4011 Greenpond Rd. For more information, call Heidi Healy, Lehigh Valley Lyme Support Group moderator, at 610-882-2253 or email [email protected].
