Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Tea and Play for Moms and Tots

River Valley Waldorf School offers a free Tea and Play from 10 to 11 a.m., on the first Monday of each month in a lovely early childhood classroom. Participants will find all kinds of natural and simple playthings, such as silk capes, wood blocks, wooden play stands perfect for making forts, woolen and cotton dolls. The whole room is a paradise for an inquiring child’s exploration.

The Tea and Play is designed to welcome community members with small children to experience the beauty and tranquility of a Waldorf preschool classroom. While the children play or crawl around, parents have an opportunity to visit with a River Valley preschool teacher, discuss what Waldorf early-childhood education is all about and have their questions answered. The Tea and Play is open to the community with children up to four years old.

Admission is free. Location: 1395 Bridgeton Hill Rd., in Upper Black Eddy, PA. To reserve a space, call 610-982-5606.
