Discover the Lasting Benefits of Yoga
Sally Delisle will conduct an introduction and exploration of the 11 main anatomical and physiological body systems from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 8, at The Yoga Loft. Participants will learn how asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing) practices can affect and enhance the body’s systems, and come away with tools to be able to practice the yoga that best supports individual needs. Delisle will also discuss how diet, lifestyle and other practices such as reflexology/meridian/acupressure points can influence our body systems and provide us with even more support for wellness throughout our lives. No previous yoga experience is required.
