Summer Camp, Waldorf-Style

River Valley Waldorf School is registering summer campers from 3 years to kindergarten for weeklong sessions from July 20 through August 7. Kids will revel in the outdoors; water play, picnicking, crafting and canoodling in the sunshine and shade our an amazing playground. Consistent with the principles of Waldorf education, activities stimulate imaginations, encourage social harmony and exercise both large and small motor skills.

The Old-Fashioned Camp, for grades one to three, harkens back to simpler times. These campers will dig into doing. Home base is an all-purpose room, front fields and school garden. This group will build, craft, sing and play games, jump in the sprinkler and eat lots of watermelon; The perfect way to spend a summer day.

Circus skills will engage and challenge campers from grades two through six. Juggling, stilt-walking, clowning and riding a unicycle are some of the activities that will be practiced. Circus skills build confidence, self-esteem and teamwork. Kids love this camp. Location: Upper Black Eddy and Doylestown, PA.
