Relax and Ride on the Bike Train Enjoy scenic Carbon County with a relaxing 25 mile, one-hour train ride up the picturesque Lehigh Gorge from Jim Thorpe to White Haven and then pedal back down at your own pace along the Lehigh Gorge Rail-Trail on several special weekends this summer. Planned date are June 27 & 28; July 25 & 26; August 22 & 23; and September 19 & 20.

Cyclists are dropped off at the Lehigh Gorge trailhead and will pass canal remnants, swim spots, scenic overlooks and railroad trestles along the 100% gentle downhill trail. The many sparkling waterfalls provide great photo opportunities. Arrival times are 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and bicycles are available for rent.

If you do not have the time or inclination to pedal the whole Lehigh River Gorge Rail Trail, Pocono Biking offers the mid-way ride; a pleasant 10 or 15 mile ride lasting 2 to 4 hours all summer long.
