Massage therapist Shelly Roberts is now offering therapeutic massage sessions at LiveWell Empowerment Center, in Jim Thorpe, after practicing in the area since 1989. The previous owner of Mountain Massage, located at Split Rock Resort, at Lake Harmony, Roberts integrates several styles of massage, bodywork and energy healing to support the body in relaxing, balancing and self-healing. She co-developed of The Gift of Touch for Massage magazine, which included a 12-city massage expo.

“Massage and bodywork integration brings about healing, awareness, regeneration and balance,” says Roberts. “My massage journey began with training at the Buck Hill School of Massage, in Buck Hill, Pennsylvania. I have trained with Dean Juhan, Paul St. John, Carol Osborne, Aunty Margaret Machado and Milton Trager. My spiritual path has journeyed to the Omega Institute and Kripalu for numerous workshops over 27 years. I also spent a month in retreat at the Himalayan Institute, in Honesdale.
