A Functional Medicine Approach to Heart Health Seminar
Kathy Harrington, of Bethlehem Nutrition and Wellness Center, will deliver a comprehensive seminar detailing the most recent research regarding hearth health at 7 p.m., February 9, at the Best Western in Bethlehem. Participants will learn specific steps to reduce risk of disease, how to reduce inflammation in the body and improve the health of the entire circulatory system.
“Heart disease is still the number one cause of death in the U.S., despite increasingly aggressive pharmaceutical interventions,” states Harrington. “Traditional protocols are contributing to a breakdown in overall health in our country. It turns out the causes of heart disease are far more complicated than previously thought. Functional medicine takes a whole-body approach to improving heart health, so come learn about the emerging evidence of what truly causes heart disease and find out about advanced laboratory tests available to give a more accurate picture of your heart health and heart disease risk.”
