Spring Knit-a-Thon

Circle of Seasons (COS), A Waldorf Methods Public School, is holding their Spring Faire & Knit- A-Thon, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 14, at the school in Fogelsville. Participants collect sponsorship for knitting and all finished pieces are donated to Project Linus (ProjectLinus.org). There will be knitting classes, a live auction and basket raffle with many local items and services, kid’s crafts, a puppet show, artisan demonstrations and a musical performance by COS students. A companion book fair is hosted by Let’s Play Books, in Emmaus, and a COS store by Ju-Ju Monkey selling COS merchandise and Waldorf school supplies. The fair is open to the public and offers a great way to experience the curriculum, staff and philosophy.

Using Waldorf-Methods instruction in combination with Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences, Circle of Seasons offers a learning environment that is inspirational, disciplined and infuses learning with enthusiasm, creativity and significance. Teachers and staff work with each student’s developmental and educational needs to foster an environment that supports independent and creative thinking individuals.

Location; 8380 Mohr Lane, Fogelsville, PA. For more information, call 610-285-6267 or visit CircleOfSeasons.org.
