Easton Public Market Now Open
Apr 28, 2016 04:42PM
The Easton Public Market, a project of the Greater Easton Development Partnership, offers the personal service and superior quality of an Old-World grocery store, combined with a hip, modern, dining experience. With 14 artisanal food vendors, a farm stand and demonstration kitchen, the market is a vibrant gathering space for shopping, dining and learning.
The mission of the market is to develop a self-sustaining cultural and culinary hub that brings people together, supports a regional food culture, educates guests, inspires new ideas and drives the local economy. The food is locally sourced from small farms, local crafters, food vendors and volunteers.
Their goal is to be self-supporting, responsible, stewards of the area’s valuable resources and introduce guests to new foods and products and new ways to think about shopping. As the cultivator of new relationships between growers, chefs, home cooks and happy eaters, the market creates bonds between diverse people, world cuisines, regional tastes and personal health.
