Jim Thorpe Sidewalk Sale
Jun 29, 2016 01:00AM
The 10th annual Merchants and Neighbors sidewalk sale, in Victorian Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, will be held in the historic Downtown District from noon to 5 p.m., July 9 and July 10. Amid more than 45 vendors, visitors can park behind the train station visitors center and stroll past Hazard Square and head up to the Old Jail on West Broadway along the tree-lined, shaded streets that are steeped in history and local color.
The bargain shoppers' paradise includes items from attics, garages and basements that include antiques and collectibles, baked goodies, clothes, toys and small appliances with tons of treasures not to be missed. Early holiday shoppers and bargain hunters are welcome. Along with the sidewalk sales, many of the downtown merchants will have special inventory reductions available on the weekend. All of the eateries, galleries, shops and accommodations are open, too.
