Herb Symposium Coming to Pennsylvania

The American H e r b a l i s t s Guild will hold their 27th annual symposium, Connecting to Our Roots, from September 29 to October 3, in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania, featuring keynote speaker Phyllis Hogan and some of the world’s leading herbal educators delivering cutting-edge presentations on a wide range of topics in herbal medicine.

The symposium will explore herbal horizons with the professionals in more than 40 lectures, as well as pre- and post-symposium intensives, with sessions ranging from beginner to advanced. Herbal practitioners, medical professionals, students and novices can interact with renowned botanists on plant walks, join open discussion panels and meet with some of the leading companies in natural health at the Expo Hall.

This year, the symposium offers the Infectious Disease Track and Post- Symposium Intensive, a special track of diverse classes addressing infectious disease and herbal therapies. Participants that attend four workshops in the infectious disease track, as well the post-symposium intensive will earn a certificate of completion in infectious disease and herbal therapies training.

Classes are eligible for NCCAOM continuing education credit. To register, visit AmericanHerbalistsGuild.com or call 617-520-4372.
