The Nature of Reality and Consciousness

The Institute for Learning in Retirement at Cedar Crest College offers a series The Nature of Reality & Consciousness,, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Thursdays from October 13 to December 15, to acquaint participants with the latest understanding of the world in terms of science, consciousness and self-empowerment.

Presenter Jim Skelton, holds degrees from Muhlenberg College, the Lutheran Theological Seminary, in Philadelphia, and Kutztown University. A school psychologist, school and career counselor and spiritual mentor versed in consciousness studies, Skelton states, “The more you desire to love what you are and to live in knowingness, the more your brain is opened up by the God that surrounds your being; greater and greater and greater. Then you become more than your body. You become that which holds you together.”

Topics include thoughts, words and their influence on premise of being; time, space, synchronicity, and quantum reality; biocentricism and consciousness; the power of awareness rediscovered; and evolution of life into non-dual interconnectedness.
