A Night of Holistic Approaches for Arthritis

Practitioners at Twin Ponds Integrative Health Center, in Brienigsville, will offer an evening schedule of informational seminars from 6 to 9 p.m., October 19, specifically designed for those suffering from arthritis.

Dr. Tom Wachtmann will discuss lost range of motion to joints, flexibility, muscle tone and strength due to inflammation caused by arthritis and a comprehensive program that can help improve the joints and reduce arthritis pain at 6:30 p.m. Meditation instructor Greg Schweitzer offers an introduction to a physician-recommended meditation technique as a key for self-care and gaining relief from pain, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, fatigue, brain fog and more at 7:30 p.m.

Movement expert Carol Siddiqi offers an easy, gentle Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement exercise class that can help those with arthritis stay active. This exercise involves the whole body, with goals to reduce mechanical irritation and pain in the joints at 6:30 p.m. At 7:15 p.m., Betsy Wetzig employs coordination pattering concepts to loosen, lengthen, strengthen and improve coordination for movement and agility.

Allergy elimination specialist Cathi Dunkelberger discusses scientific evidence that points to food allergies as a major cause of arthritis and how allergy relief treatments may help alleviate this painful condition at 5:45 p.m.

Bodyworkers John Ezaki and Jeanne Mancinelli will help attendees feel their mind and body relax into a stress-free state while sampling free ancient, healing modalities from 6 to 8 p.m. with an appointment.
