November is Food and Wine Month at the Lodge

The Lodge at Woodloch, in Hawley, appreciates how important it is to pair a relaxing stay with amazing food and wine. During November, they are celebrating the culinary talent of their experts and select guest presenters and chefs.

On November 4 and 5, it’s Ryan Davis, regional manager for the Spire Collection, a certifi ed sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers. From November 10 to 12, winery owners Galen and Sarah Glen will talk about sustainably nurturing more than 20 acres of vines.

From November 11 to 13, Autumn Giles is a freelance writer and recipe developer and author of Beyond Canning will speak.

From November 18 to 20, Erika Jurden, of Coppola Winery, will relate her passion for the wine industry. She is a certifi ed specialist of wine by the Society of Wine Educators and a district manager for the Francis Ford Coppola Winery.

The Lodge allows guests to rediscover their passions or uncover new hobbies, and leave feeling reinvigorated and reenergized. By offering choices for relaxation, fi tness and wellness classes, outdoor adventures, creative discovery workshops, cooking demonstrations and wine tastings, as well as opportunities for personal development through unique speakers and events, a pathway to awakening is beckons.
