The sixth annual Lehighton Area Pool Pals (LAPP) Cabin Fever Dance will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 27 at Orioles Pavilion in Lehighton. There will be a dance contest, DJ “The Doctor”, door prizes and lots of fun. All proceeds support the Baer Memorial swimming pool.

LAPP is a nonprofit community fundraising group created to support the rehabilitation and ongoing work of the Lehighton Bear Memorial swimming pool, which was reopened in 2009 with $135,000 in contributions to LAPP. The group welcomes community involvement and does not require that families live in Lehighton to get involved or enjoy the pool in season.
