Natural Awakenings Lehigh Valley

Pennsylvania Permaculture Convergence

The first Pennsylvania Permaculture Convergence is planned for Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 4 at Stonehedge Gardens in Tamaqua. The gathering will address the ever-increasing need for communities to work and grow together as we develop ways to deal with ecological and social challenges.

Friday and Saturday of the convergence will be focused on informational workshops, group activities, and speakers. On Sunday, participants will be able to choose from several hands-on building workshops to put their knowledge to work. There will be spaces set for entertainment, community conversations, fireside chats and more.

One of the overlying themes is Creating Community, so we will have many spaces planned for engaging conversations and meeting one another to form bonds that will grow and last beyond the temporary space we create together. We will be working together to set up and live within in a Permaculture based Village for the weekend.

The Stonehedge Cooperative is dedicated to providing a healing, sacred, inclusive environment for the cultivation of personal and community transformation and wellness through the gardens and nature, the arts and holistic education.

Location: 51 Dairy Rd., Tamaqua. Tickets are $20-$80 and can be purchased at Stonehedge.us or at Eventbrite.com/e/pennsylvania-permaculture-convergence-2017-tickets-32222207490. Some campsites may be available for an additional charge.
