Learn Salsa New York Style

Persevere Fitness is introducing NY Style Salsa On2 with Ellie Valera, a six-week course beginning from 1:30 to 3 p.m., October 7. Beginner Salsa class introduces students to the timing of the music, as well as technique in leading and following. While learning basic footwork and connections between partners, students will also learn an easy dance turn pattern. No dance experience is required and no partner necessary. Students should wear soft-sole flats.\
“I took formal class after formal class at one of the most recognized On2 dance schools in the world,” says Valera. “I attended many workshops and training classes nationally and internationally. I've been on performance teams and have performed in New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.” She has taught at local colleges and universities, fitness studios and dance schools across the Lehigh Valley into New Jersey.
