Herbalist Cheryl Karcher offers a class, Herbal Potions and Elixirs, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., October 21, at the Easton Public Market. Learning to make these amazing healing beverage remedies will invite students into a world of herbalism on a deeper level. The magic of herbs lies in their alchemical and energetic properties. Participants will begin to understand this technique as they blend and discuss ingredients to produce these traditional remedies. Class notes are provided and they will take home a DIY elixir kit.

Utilizing in-depth consults and functional medical techniques, Karcher works with clients to co-create a healing protocol addressing a specific health issue, chronic or acute, an overall imbalance or simply the desire for more radiant health. With a culinary background, her mission is to empower families to use herbs in their homes on a regular basis for nutritional, medicinal and household use.
