10th Year Anniversary for the Indiemade Craft Market
Oct 31, 2017 02:26PM
The tenth annual Indiemade Craft Market, Lehigh Valley’s largest indie craft show, with more than 50 vendors, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 2, at the Starlite Ballroom, in Allentown. The market serves up a fresh holiday shopping experience every year to meet the growing interest in buying local by providing a way for socially-minded shoppers to purchase unique gifts that are handcrafted within their own community and to connect with the people that made them. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Baum School of Art scholarship fund.
For visitors with a crafty impulse, make-and-take craft tables with instructors from the Cedar Crest College CREATE class, Mercantile Home of Easton and BLICK Art Materials will be on hand with materials to teach attendees crafting skills for do-it-themselves projects. Art installations from local artists will be on display on the second floor. Attendees can listen to upand- coming local bands and enjoy food and drink in a festive atmosphere.
Admission is $3/12 and under free. First 50 adults will receive swag bags from Mercantile Home of Easton. Location: 1221 S. Front St. For more information, visit IndieMadeCraftMarket.com.
