The Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Association (MAREA) will hold a Spring 2018 Sustainable Living Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 5. For this self-guided tour in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Lehigh and Montgomery counties, residents open their homes to showcase sustainable features so that others may see and learn from their experience.

This year's open house includes homes with solar installations, energy-efficiency upgrades, rainwater recycling, electric vehicles and other sustainable living features. It's an educational and fun day out with family and friends, and the perfect opportunity to see these sustainable features in action and talk with those with firsthand experience.
