Chef Wendy Landiak provides personalized weight-loss and nutrition consultations that provide clients with a way to lose weight through proper nutrition, eat a more plant-based diet or transition to vegetarian or veganism.
Landiak is known around Lehigh Valley for her vegan cuisine but her first love was nutrition. A graduate of Pepperdine University’s nutritional science program, in Malibu, California, she expanded her knowledge by studying nutrigenomics with Dr. Jim Kaput from the University of California Irvine. Her further studies include ethnobotany with Dr. Jeannine Pfeiffer of Eco Sea, in California; Ayurveda at the Himalayan Institute, in Honesdale, Pennsylvania and with the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America; raw foods with David Wolfe; juicing with juice guru Steven Prussak; and macrobiotics with Stephen Hoog from Lehigh Valley.
“It’s not about starving yourself or limiting what you eat,” enthuses Landiak. “During each consultation, I use the knowledge I have gained to help clients meet their weight-loss and nutrition goals.”
