4-D Wheel Retreat and Training
Dr. Alexandra Milspaw
Dr. Alexandra Milspaw, a certified 4-D Wheel Practitioner, AASECT-Certified sex therapist, and licensed professional counselor, will host a 4-D Wheel retreat for clients from 7 to 9 p.m., September 21, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., September 22, at Hawk Mountain Bed & Breakfast, in Kempton. A training will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., October 26, at her office in Bethlehem.
Retreat participants will be introduced to the 4-D Wheel Experience, originally created by Dr. Gina Ogden (4-Dnetwork.com). Milspaw will provide an educational review of how stress, trauma and pain affect the mind-body experience, and the most recent research demonstrating the power of the mind to heal the body.
During the training, participants will learn how the 4-D Wheel technique can be utilized with all clients and all presenting problems. Special attention will be paid towards understanding how trauma, chronic pain and stress impact our physical bodies and consequently affect our minds, emotions and sense of connection to those around us.
